Helicopter Grand Arrival — 16 Guests, One Island
Two consecutive VIP helicopter rotations from Julius Nyerere International Airport transport all 16 guests to Thanda Island aboard the Airbus EC155B. Upon landing, the full island team lines the helipad for a ceremonial welcome — champagne, coconuts, and cool towels. Guests are escorted to suites across the Villa and Tanzanian Bandas before the afternoon's first adventure: a sunset cruise aboard Umoja with canapés and Thanda's signature cocktails trailing a golden Indian Ocean wake.

Days 2 - 6: Seven Days of Boundless Ocean Adventure
Days two through six unfold as a sequence of signature island experiences. Marine adventures open the week, with whale shark encounters for October–March visitors or private dive charters into the reserve's coral systems year-round, followed by snorkelling at outer reef pinnacles alive with Napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, and hawksbill turtles, a beach braai, and free afternoons for spa, jet skis, or rest. An overnight sail aboard Umoja brings sundowners, a starlit dinner, and glowing bioluminescence, while remaining guests enjoy the Villa and Bandas. A slower day follows, centred on wellness, Swahili spa rituals, and a beachside sundowner. The group then embarks on a full-day island-hopping expedition with snorkelling, picnics, and a fresh seafood lunch, before a celebration evening featuring a bespoke event tailored entirely to the group's occasion.

A farewell brunch brings the entire group together one last time: toasts, photographs, and the heartfelt farewells of the Thanda Island team. Two helicopter rotations then lift all 16 guests toward Dar es Salaam carrying seven peak-season nights of unparalleled island luxury as a permanent part of their story.
