Itinerary

Arrival and pick up from the airport and drive to your hotel

Dinner and overnight: Milcolline Hotel.
Meals: BB

Drive 2hours to cross Katunna border and drive 1hour to Arcadia lodge for lunch.
Here you will enjoy the stunning view of L. Bunyonyi.
After lunch take the last part of the journey to Bweza Gorilla lodge for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with your rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, hiking boots because of the slippery hill slops. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the Primates for a group you have been booked for.

Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. Return to the lodge for Lunch. Travel to the Southern Part of Bwindi.

Lose Yourself in Nature
Explore the mysterious Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on a guided walk. Early in the morning, venture out into the thick jungles of Bwindi to immerse yourself in this fascinating, bio-diverse habitat.
The mist-clad hillsides of this natural reserve are carpeted with an ancient rainforest that is home to 120 species of mammals, including 7 diurnal primates. In addition, an astounding 360 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies call the steamy woodlands of Bwindi their home.

Immerse yourself in this mesmerizing ecosystem as your guide introduces you to the local fauna and flora and leads your through your verdant surroundings. This truly is the heart of Africa!

Breakfast, transfer to Kigali international airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro airport. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Arusha (45-60 minutes).

After breakfast embark to the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, dring Tanzania’s dry season. In the afternoon you will eat your lunch at the picnic overlooking Tarangire River.

Revel in a safari adventure on a day game drive
Enjoy the thrill of getting up close and personal with the bigger wildlife as well as the smaller bush creatures, on a 1-day game drive in one of Tanzania's national parks. This park is a little gem, especially when you love elephants. Enjoy the beautiful views over the Tarangire river, where large families of elephants often gather. The perfect spot for a day game drive.

Early morning breakfast then embark to visit Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, the Tanzania’s remarkable residents don’t just come on four legs. Indigenous hunter-gatherer tribes still exist in East Africa (just) and you’ll enjoy two days of memorable cultural immersion.

The nimble Hadzabe Bushmen sidestep through the trees, picking up on every clue as they stalk a small antelope. You can also see the clues; an upturned stone, a line of animal droppings, a slight indent in the grass. But the bushman spots them without breaking stride, eyes always scanning ahead, the path of the prey continually visualized.

On day eight you’ll head out on a morning hunt, a haunting experience that reveals the phenomenal skills of these ancient people. And yes, they do still use a homemade bow and arrow.

After breakfast at the lodge do we depart to Ngorongoro Crater, We will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half days safari tour. Another big draw card to this picturesque conservation is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, and jackals.
After lunch Leave the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

After breakfast, we head to find good sightings A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park and the Mara River provides the migration with its most difficult obstacles, you will spend the full day at the river waiting for migration crossing.

The for great wildebeest migration and the wildebeest crossing will be along the Mara river and this will be your opportunity to see them crossing the famous Mara river full of crocodiles ambushing them. After lunch you will be transferred to the central Serengeti plains, game viewing en-route south from the Mara River valley takes you through hills country.

Enjoy a beautiful breakfast at the lodge, before transferring to the northern Serengeti national park, this time take in as much as you can of the great Mara river wildebeest crossing. Witness the thrilling action of the river crossing of hundreds and thousands of wildebeest, the awaiting predators, crocodiles, accompanying zebras, wallowing hippos, elephants and local and migratory birds.

After an early breakfast, you will head out to make the most of the day. There is a chance you may see hundreds of thousands of desperate wildebeest gather together on the banks of the river, gazing wistfully across the turbulent water at the green grass on the other side but no animal will make a move.

All it takes is one brave wildebeest to take the literal plunge and, then, all follow! The animals that do successfully avoid the awaiting crocodile jaws and make it over the river are rewarded with the lush green grazing grass of the Masai Mara.

Drive within the central Serengeti set off along Orange River, heading north-east, Crises-crossing the river, we will walk through great rock kopjes where wildlife will be spotted along the edges of the woodlands and plains.

After breakfast, we head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. We arrive in time for lunch at the Olduvai Gorge
