On arrival in Kigali, our professional guide will welcome you and transfer you to your booked hotel. Depending on time of arrival, you have an opportunity for a tour of Kigali City visiting the genocide memorial. Later back to the hotel for overnight.

Today after your breakfast your driver guide will transfer you to Kisoro – Uganda at the base of the Virunga Volcanoes. Enjoy the winding roads of the ‘thousand hills’ and magnificent views of the Volcanoes. You will spend the afternoon at leisure in preparation for all the trekking and hiking in the days to come.

In the morning after the breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your driver guide to the office of UWA. Depending on the location of the gorillas, you might need to drive before you start the trek in the park. The ranger guide will then lead you to start your gorilla trek in the park. After hiking some distance depending on the location of the gorillas, you will sight them and spend up to 1 hour with them before you start your descent back to the briefing point and later your lodge. The experience in this jungle and meeting these enormous creatures will stay with you for life.

After an early morning breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point where the golden monkey trekking starts. Just like gorilla trekking, you receive a briefing from the ranger guide and later start your hike up Mgahinga national park in search of the golden monkeys, which are only in the Virunga Volcanoes. ). Later after you will embark on a transfer to Kigali to your hotel for diner and overnight.

In the morning after the relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport, depending on your departure flight, you will have the Kigali city tour prior to your departure flight, greet and meet at Kilimanjaro International Airport transfer to Arusha.

Your safari adventure begins today!
This is a far less visited national park on the circuit so you can enjoy some spectacular wildlife sightings in this vast wilderness with lower visitor densities. As you enter the park and game drive through it, you’ll pass huge herds of elephants surrounded by open woodlands and acacia trees. You will spend the rest of the day exploring the ravines and swamps which are teeming with wildlife. Passing the Tarangire River, watch in astonishment as you witness an enormous herd of elephants, ambling along the riverbank. It is common to see herds of up to 300 elephants in the dry season here, so you will really get a sense of the magnitude of these giants.

After breakfast at the lodge we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half days safari tour. After lunch we head towards the southeastern portion of Serengeti which is teeming with wildlife density in between December and April. Giant herds of wildebeest and zebra are attracted by the seasonal rains pouring down. In this period the best area to see wildlife is around Lake Ndutu, in the heart of the wildebeest gathering. This is where female wildebeest give birth to countless calves and therefore makes up one of the highlight of the Great Migration. All these young herbivores serve as a magnet to predators with the result of southeastern Serengeti becoming the dramatic scene of new life, and death.

You will enjoy a game drive after breakfast in the Ndutu area exploring a great range of various habitats such as swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. You will witness herds of wildebeest and zebras especially during a short time-frame from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where majority of the wildebeest calves. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young make an easy prey for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they were born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.
