The Spirit of the Wild

Table Mountain National Park — also known as the Cape Peninsula National Park — is one of the world's most biodiverse protected areas relative to its size. Covering 221 km² of the Cape Peninsula, the park encompasses the iconic flat-topped Table Mountain, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, Boulder's Beach with its African penguin colony, pristine Atlantic coastline beaches, and ancient fynbos vegetation. As part of the Cape Floral Region UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park protects an extraordinary 2,200 plant species — more than in the entire British Isles — within its compact boundaries. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway delivers visitors to the 1,086-metre summit, offering panoramic views across Cape Town, the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding peninsula
