Common Enquiries

When is the best time to stay at Serengeti River Camp?

The camp is at its peak from July to October when the Great Migration is concentrated in the Northern Serengeti for the Mara River crossings.

Can we see the river crossings from our tent?

While you can hear the river and the wildlife from your tent, the actual crossing points are visited via guided 4x4 vehicles to ensure safety and the best vantage points.

Is there a swimming pool at the camp?

Due to the seasonal and mobile nature of the camp, there is no permanent swimming pool, but we offer refreshing outdoor "safari showers" and shaded lounge areas.

How close is the camp to the Kogatende Airstrip?

We are conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the airstrip, making it a perfect "Fly-in" safari destination.

Are laundry services included?

Yes, daily laundry service is complimentary for all guests, though we recommend a 24-hour turnaround time.
