Is it really in a "restricted" area?
Yes. The lodge is located in a TANAPA Research Area. This means fewer vehicles and more "raw" wilderness than the standard Seronera circuits.
Can we see Pangolins?
While highly elusive, at least four Temminck’s Ground Pangolins have been sighted recently near the camp. The lodge actively supports the Serengeti Cheetah Project and pangolin conservation.
Does it have night drives?
Yes. Because of its unique location and research status, specialized night drives and guided walking safaris along the Orangi River are permitted.
Is it good for the Migration?
It is perfectly positioned on a critical migration corridor. You get front-row seats to the herds moving through the central plains from October to July.
