Most guests arrive via a scheduled flight to the Kuro Airstrip, followed by a short 20-minute game drive to the lodge. Alternatively, it is a 4-5 hour drive from Arusha.
Is the lodge fenced?
No, the lodge is located within an unfenced national park. Wildlife, including elephants and lions, move freely through the property. Escorts are provided for guests walking to and from their rooms.
What is the best time to visit?
While the lodge is beautiful year-round, the Dry Season (June to October) is peak wildlife viewing time as animals congregate around the Tarangire River.
Are children allowed at the lodge?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome, though those under 12 must share a room with an adult. The Family Suites are specifically designed for larger groups.
