The Experience

The Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is an architectural masterpiece inspired by a traditional African manyatta (village). The lodge consists of a series of stone-built, circular "rondavels" with conical thatched roofs, arranged around the ridge. The interiors are rich in traditional beadwork, wood carvings, and vibrant African fabrics. It is one of the oldest and most respected lodges in the park, offering a very stable and consistent level of service compared to smaller tented camps.

Is it a tented camp?

No. Unlike many other properties in the park, this is a permanent stone-and-mortar lodge. It is a great option for guests who prefer the security and solid feel of a hotel building.

Can we see the migration here?

The migration usually passes through this area in May/June and again in November/December. However, the resident lions and leopards are visible year-round.

Is there Wi-Fi?
